OREANDA-NEWS. At the FINANZ'16, SIX Swiss Exchange and SIX Structured Products Exchange Ltd presented the exchange to the numerous visitors.

After a successful edition in the previous year, SIX Swiss Exchange und SIX Structured Products Exchange Ltd were again present with a joint booth at the FINANZ'16, where they explained the benefits of on-exchange trading to a record number of 6'600 visitors - professionals on 3 February and private investors on 4 February 2016.

Quality, security and transparency count among the features of both exchanges and are key pillars of their position as reference markets. "Why exchange trading is fun" and how investors can "Fully exploit the benefits of on-exchange trading" was explained in individual presentations held by our representatives, while Andr? Buck, Head Sales SIX Swiss Exchange, participated in the panel discussion "Ask the structured products expert".

Home advantage

At the booth, visitors could inform themselves about the various trading segments. Besides Swiss blue chips, for which SIX Swiss Exchange offers the best trading conditions, the focus was on ETFs and structured products in particular, but also Sponsored Funds and Sponsored Foreign Shares. On display were historical shares of the companies Stockton & Darlington RR, der Standard Oil, Coca-Cola, Banque Generale Suisse und Tiffany, providing a look into the history of exchange trading.

Successful year of anniversaries

In 2015, SIX Swiss Exchange and SIX Structured Products Exchange Ltd registered a marked year-on-year increase in trading activity. As a result, all SIX Swiss Exchange segments showed increases in turnover.
