OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2016. To be closer to its clients, and streamline the queues, the SE “Posta Moldovei” has opened a new Postal Agency in Chisinau municipality. It is located on Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, no.130, and will provide services to both individuals and legal persons.

Attending the event, Vitalie Ciolac, the Deputy Minister of ICT welcomed the opening of the new Postal Agency, emphasizing the fact that “The Ministry of Information Technology and Communications pleads for a sustainable and dynamic development of the enterprise. An example of this may be considered the Development Plan of the SE “Posta Moldovei” for the years 2013-2016, which provides the modernization of infrastructure and diversification of the provided services. We aim to launch as many services based on the use of modern information technology as possible, only in this way we will manage to meet the needs of the clients, serve them quickly and at the highest level”.   

At the same time, Serghei Nastas, the Director General of the SE “Posta Moldovei” mentioned that “it has already become a tradition, at least once a quarter to open a new Postal Agency or renovated Postal Office. For two years, we have managed to repair over 57 Post Offices, and in 2015, we opened 10 new Postal Agencies, six of which are situated in Chisinau municipality. This year we are going to undertake several measures to modernize the enterprise, including the programs used in order to be closer to our clients and provide them quality services. 

At the same time, soon, the SE “Posta Moldovei” will install automated terminals for receiving payments in the crowded Post Offices. These will give clients the possibility to pay the bills rapidly, without wasting time queuing at the pay desks.  Meanwhile, the used software will be updated to reduce the time taken by the postal operators to process the payments, and new Postal Agencies will be opened.

During 2015, the SE “Posta Moldovei” employed 157 postal operators and currently, the enterprise has announced another 40 vacancies in Chisinau.

It should be mentioned that the SE “Posta Moldovei” is the national operator with the most diversified infrastructure, comprising 1147 Post Offices, 11 agencies and over 5550 employees.
