OREANDA-NEWS. The international financial magazine Global Finance again selected SEB as the best trade financier in Estonia.

Both trade financiers and the companies who use their services need to take into account the effects of the changing global economy in their business. Companies need strong partners in trade financing who would help to react quickly to these changes. The purpose of the award by Global Finance was to point out such strong partners.

When selecting the best trade finance provider, various criteria were considered, such as transaction volumes, global scope, level of professional customer counselling, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.

“This award is a great recognition for SEB Estonia. Last year, we have been able to continuously increase the volume of both the portfolio of letters of credit and the guarantee portfolio; in addition, our customers highly appreciate the foreign trade counselling process and the service provided by the bank,” commented Indrek Julge, Head of Corporate Banking at SEB.

In cooperation with various experts in finance and representatives of companies the financial magazine Global Finance nominated the best trade finance providers already for the sixteenth time. In the survey, the best trade finance providers are named in 9 regions and 84 countries.
