OREANDA-NEWS. The joint venture Daimler and KAMAZ changed its name - from January 21st, 2016 "Mercedes-Benz Trucks Vostok" is called "Daimler KAMAZ Rus" ("DK Rus").

Recall, in 2015, it was realized the project of joining of "Fuso Kamaz Trucks Rus" and "MB Trucks Vostok", which made it possible to optimize the administration and manufacturing processes. In accordance with the strategy of promotion of trucks and buses of Daimler AG in Russia, as the finishing of integration process of "Fuso",  it was accepted the decision about the name changing "MB Trucks Vostok". The former name of the joint venture has been changed to the new name "Daimler KAMAZ Rus". State registration of the change of name of the company was held on January 21, 2016. Renaming does not affect the relationship with the customers and suppliers of the cargo units of Daimler AG Group.

"The integration process, which started in 2015, received its logical conclusion. The new name reflects more accurately the fair relations of JV founders - Daimler AG and PAO "KAMAZ" - the world's automotive manufacturers", - said the General Director of "DK Rus", Heiko Schultze.
