OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2016. The launch of the first Ukrainian TV channel for children "VOLIA CINE + KIDS" in high definition format from the telecoms provider "Volia" was held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Tetiana Popova.

According to the initiators, the company worked with child psychologists, international experts in children's content and parents during the creating of the channel. A significant portion of the films and cartoons was created by Ukrainian studios, in particular the content from the national producer the "Ukranimafilm" studio was used, and the rest from the world's leading film studios which have been adapted for viewing in Ukraine.

Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Tetiana Popova said: "We support the initiative of the new children's channel with programs of Ukrainian and international producers. It is extremely important to develop the direction of the domestic product and to shape the minds of young Ukrainian spectators, because it is Ukraine's future, which we are creating today".
