OREANDA-NEWS. ROSATOM increased its production of uranium in Russia by 2% last year to 3,055,000 tU, up from 2,991,000 tU in 2014, a spokesman for the state nuclear corporation's uranium mining subsidiary ARMZ told World Nuclear News today.

The cost of production decreased by 11% year on year. Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Union produced 1,977 tU last year, 7 tU more than in 2014. Dalur produced 590 tU, a year-on-year increase of 2%, while Khiagda produced 488 tU, an increase of 46 tU.
