OREANDA-NEWS. On February 2, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev held a meeting with young oil workers. The meeting took place at the Baku Business Center. SOCAR president congratulated participants of the meeting and all young people of the country on Youth Day and said youth policy was a priority of the political course held by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the course, which played an important role in macroeconomic development of Azerbaijan and other regional countries. The government created all opportunities for the young people to get high-quality education, work in the specialty and build a career. Rovnag Abdullayev said SOCAR was placing high emphasis on care of young people and improvement of their living standards. Young personnel training, access to higher education, employment of oil school alumni are always in the focus of attention. SOCAR president answered the questions of the attendees and informed them about the activity of SOCAR, its development prospects, world oil industry processes, as well as social projects implemented by the company. The meeting also focused the social and job problems of the young people.
