Recall that UAZ went to the winter holidays from December 31st, 2015 and on January 11th it was started the corporate holiday, which lasted until the end of January.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", in 2015 Ulyanovsk car plant sold in the Russian market 48 739 cars, which is less by 2% compared with the previous year. As a result, UAZ has risen from 15th to 11th position in the total volume of sales in Russia, as well as it increased significantly its market share among all passenger and commercial vehicles up to 3%. The leader of sales in 2015 was the SUV UAZ "Patriot", the volume of sales of which was 19,950 vehicles (-5.3%). The success of the sales of UAZ "Patriot" is provided with the launch of updated version of the model in August of 2015.

Sales of commercial vehicles UAZ in the last year were 22,102 cars, which permitted the brand to increase the market share up to 21.5% and to occupy the second place by sales of LCV in Russia. Such commercial models as the "Bus", "Glazed van" and "UAZ Cargo" were in the greatest demand in 2015. The leader of growth was the "Bus" (UAZ 220695), whose sales rose by 50% in the last year. Also in 2015, sales volumes of cars "UAZ Cargo" increased by 39% In addition, sales of "glazing van UAZ"(UAZ 3741) grew by 9% in comparison with 2014.
