OREANDA-NEWS.  In November 2015, the Pipeline Bends shipped over 120 large-bore pipe bends to Transneft branches.
Hot-bent pipe bends dia. 530, 720, 1020 and 1220 mm, wall thickness from 10 to 18 mm made of K65 steel are intended for renovation of the pipeline sections "Kuibyshev - Lisichansk", "Nizhnevartovsk - Kurgan - Kuibyshev", Central Siberian, Ural and other oil mainlines owned by regional branches of Transneft. These pipeline sections are part of Russia's largest oil mainlines commissioned in the 1970-1980s.

"Transneft is one of key consumers of our products. We keep expanding the range of pipeline fittings to strengthen cooperation with our key clients. This year, the Pipeline Bends engineers developed two new pipeline fitting specifications for an oil transport company for fittings dia. 159-426 mm and 530-1220 mm rated to 9.8 MPa and 11.8 MPa, respectively. Currently, we have successfully completed testing of 1.5 DN pipeline bends", says Aleksey Artemiyev, Executive Director, Pipeline Bends JSC.
