OREANDA-NEWS. Recently a travelling meeting-seminar of heads of the security unit of IDGC of Centre under the leadership of Acting Deputy General Director for Security Vladimir Ozhkalo passed in Lipetsk.

The event was dedicated to summarizing the activities of the unit and the tasks for 2016.

Opening the meeting, Vladimir Ozhkalo stressed: "In today's environment ensuring the security of the company is a strategic priority. We are faced with tasks such as improving the protection of economic interests of the company, increasing the effectiveness of measures to minimize the receivables, the protection of confidential information and information resources, equipping power facilities with technical security."

In his opening speech Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Lipetskenergo division director Alexander Konanykhin stressed the importance of the objectives. "The power grid complex of IDGC of Centre is one of the largest and most reliable in the country. The work of industrial enterprises, strategic facilities for the country depends on its stable operation, so the issues of energy security in our company are given the utmost importance," he commented.

During the meeting participants analyzed the quantitative and qualitative performance indicators and discussed in detail a number of topical questions on the work with overdue receivables, the procedure to exchange information, the organizational and legal framework for the protection of the energy complex from acts of unlawful interference. And they also considered the most successful practical experience in solving them.

Deputy Head of the security department of IDGC of Centre – Tambovenergo division Vyacheslav Breev gave a report on the organization of the anti-terrorist protection of electric grid facilities with colleagues. Deputy Director for Security - Head of the security department of IDGC of Centre – Yarenergo division Georgy Shirshakov shared experience with the overdue receivables with colleagues. Deputy Director for Security - Head of the security department of IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division Alexander Korotin said about successful practices of interaction with law enforcement bodies on facts of theft of electricity.

According to the participants, the exchange of views and experiences, but above all, the development of targets, aimed at effective solutions to ensure comprehensive security of energy facilities of IDGC of Centre in 2016, became the main result of the meeting.

The event ended with an excursion to the museum of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Combine (PJSC "NLMK") - the largest customer of IDGC of Centre, during which representatives of the energy company got acquainted with the development history of the company.
