IDGC of Centre performed its repair campaign in 2015 in excess of the targets
Power engineers conducted comprehensive repair of 189 substations of 35-110 kV. They refurbished 4,760 transformer substations of 0.4-10 kV and about 18.6 thousand km of overhead and cable lines of 0.4-110 kV, which is 116% and 106% of the annual plan. They cleared 14,663 hectares (102% of the planned targets) and expanded 1,783 hectares of ROWs of overhead lines. The repair program volume amounted to about 1.97 billion rubles.
Among the largest and important facilities, where in the past year there was comprehensive overhaul - the substation "Gagarin" and "Monastyrschina" in the Smolensk region, "Atom City" in the Kursk region, and "KS-20" in the Tver region. The first two power facilities are the main feeding centres for industrial and residential consumers of the eastern and southern districts of the Smolensk region. The substation "Atom City" in Kurchatov is the main source of power supply of household and social facilities of the city of nuclear scientists: kindergartens, schools, hospitals, shops, pumping stations and rest areas. The substation "KC-20" supplies electricity to all responsible consumers, carrying natural gas transit on the territory of the Tver region.
In addition, in 2015 in the branches of "Voronezhenergo", "Lipetskenergo" and "Tambovenergo" the key regional power overhead lines were renovated.
Voronezh power engineers to provide the power output of Novovoronezh NPP-2 performed a major overhaul of the overhead lines "Voronezh - Otrozhka, # 49, 50" and "Liski - Traction, # 1, 2". Both lines are the backbone, transit and feed categorical consumers of the regional centre and the southern district of the region. In the Lipetsk and Tambov regions the repairs covered overhead lines that are essential for the smooth functioning of social infrastructure: "Ring - Left-Right" in the centre of Lipetsk and "Rasskazovskaya - Kirsanovskaya, 2-circuit" (central district of the Tambov region).
"The implementation of the repair program of IDGC of Centre allows to ensure the quality and reliability of electricity supply of 11 subjects of the Central Federal District, and greatly contributes to the smooth and stable operation of the power grid complex of the company in these regions during the autumn-winter peak demand," stresses Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre Alexander Pilyugin.
