OREANDA-NEWS. AvtoVAZ has announced the price of the new LADA XRAY, Russian sales of which start on February 14th, 2016. The suggested retail price of new cars will start with a mark of 589 thousand rubles, informed the press service of AvtoVAZ.

The basic configuration, called Optima (motor LADA 1,6 liters, 106 hp, mechanic) includes two front airbags, Vehicle Stability Control ESC (including ABS and traction control), and others.

XRAY, equipped with a more powerful 1.6-liter engine (110 hp) with the optional Comfort Package equipment is offered for 653,000 rubles.

The cost of the car in the Top version starts from 668 thousand rubles. The car, equipped with a 1.6 liter, 110 hp and mechanic transmission (supplemented with fog lamps, power door mirrors and electric heating, parking assistant, multimedia system with navigation). The car is in a similar configuration, equipped with engine 1.8 liter LADA AMT, is offered for 693,000 rubles.

For the flagship XRAY it is proposed package Prestige, including a heated windscreen, rear view camera, climate control, rain and light sensors, and enhanced tinted glasses. The cost of the car, equipped with a 1.6 engine and manual transmission will be 698,000 rubles, and the engine LADA 1,8 AMT - 723 000 rubles.

Serial production of the new hatchback LADA XRAY started at AVTOVAZ on December 15th, 2015. LADA XRAY – is compact hatchback, implemented in the style SUV.

Recall that in December of the last year the director of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", Sergei Tselikov, on his page on FB conducted a small survey on the topic "What will be the starting price of LADA XRAY?”. According to the results of this survey, the average price of a new model was 590,5 thousand Rubles, which almost corresponds to announced by AvtoVAZ its starting price. Moreover, an employee of the agency Vladimir Ruzanov gave the most accurate forecast - 589 thousand Rubles!

We should note that this is just the level of the price, from which begin the prices of the main competitor of LADA XRAY - hatchback Renault Sandero Stepway, but they apply only to cars of 2015 manufacture year.
