OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2016. The Ford Fiesta was the No.1 selling small car in Europe again last year, making it the top-selling small car in Europe for the fourth year running.

Customers purchased 314,432 Fiestas in Europe in 2015, compared with 309,120 the previous year (an increase of 2 per cent) after Ford introduced significant upgrades including new colours, significant styling and equipment revisions, and a wider choice of powertrains.

“Small-car customers will find what they’re looking for in Fiesta, whether it’s the fuel efficiency of the 82 g/km CO2 Fiesta Econetic or the award-winning performance of the Fiesta ST,” said Roelant de Waard, vice president, Marketing, Sales & Service, Ford of Europe.

Manufactured for Europe in Cologne, Germany, Fiesta has accounted for more than 17 million sales worldwide since being launched in 1976, and is available for the region in 3-door, 5-door and panel bodystyles – and as a 4-door in global markets.
