OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2016. Sciences-Po is launching the second edition of a training programme to support and guide young Mediterranean women (between 25 and 35) in their professional and personal fulfillment. It will be held in Paris and Strasbourg from 9 to 20 May.

The programme “Femmes d’Avenir en M?diterran?e” aims to boost the professional growth of a group of young leaders from the countries of the Mediterranean and to contribute to develop a solidarity and mutual support network among participants in order to foster a long-term culture of gender parity. It is cofounded by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Women, and Inter-ministerial Delegation to the Mediterranean.

A total of 22 French-speaking women from various sectors (business, arts, culture, research, politics and humanitarian aid…) will be selected by a jury based on a wide range of criteria, such as early excellence in their professional field or a commitment to promoting equality in their domain of activities.

They will benefit from both applied and theoretical support to their careers. Training will include modules on law, leadership, management and gender, and conflict resolution specifically designed for the program.

The deadline for submission is March 12, 2016.

Proposals and Submission templates must be sent to caterina.sabbatini@sciencespo.fr or blogs.sciences-po.fr/WOMED
