OREANDA-NEWS. Tugnui enrichment plant (Republic of Buratia) has released 30 millionth tons of coal concentrate. Achieving this result has become possible due to reconstruction and modernization of production and increased productivity. Tugnui enrichment plant, designed by the project of "SAGMENT" company was put into operation in August 2009 with the capacity of 4.5 million tons of coal per year. In 2011 the factory reached the project indicators.

From 2011 to 2013, with the active participation of specialists from the plant, OJSC "Sibniiugleobogaschenie" performed designed works on the modernization of EP with an increase of its capacity to 9.0 mln. tons of processing of raw coal per year. Under the current production as a part of this project the construction and installation works, replacement and installation of additional equipment were carried out parallel. All these efforts have enabled EP to reach design capacity of 9 million. tons immediately on completion of the works.

Currently, the project of a module for 0-25 mm' coal beneficiation cells is being developed. This will stop production of unenriched coal, to produce only high quality concentrate and increase the capacity of EP' enrichment of coal up to 2 000 tons per hour.

Today Tugnui enrichment plant is a company with modern equipment, high-productivity and professional teams. The concentrate, produced by the factory, is fully consistent with export standards.
