OREANDA-NEWS. Vagit Alekperov, President of PJSC LUKOIL, and Dmitry Kobylkin, Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, signed a supplement cooperation agreement for 2016 in Salekhard.

The agreement specifies the scope of financing for social and economic development of the region for this year. Financing will cover the construction of a three-story residential house for medical personnel in Tazovsky village and arrangement of medical treatment and diagnostics for children with severe diseases and disabilities.

LUKOIL will also provide financial support to Orthodox Revival non-commercial organization, YAMAL regional innovation fund, YAMINE charity fund and association of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North, Siberia and Far East.

LUKOIL will also support the development of hang gliding, airplane tourism, use of ultralight aviation in different sectors of economy of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug as well as the implementation of an environmental project to clean Belyi island.
