OREANDA-NEWS. Ilim CEO Franz Marx spoke to MBA students of the SKOLKOVO Business School as part of the Strategy and Change Management module. The presentation of the CEO of Russia's largest pulp and paper company was focused on development and implementation of the Company's development strategies in the context of recession and tough competition with global industry leaders.

Mr. Marx presented to students an analysis of macroeconomic situation referring in particular to emerging markets, and gave an overview of forest industry producing such high-demand products as pulp, paper, and board from renewable natural resources.

Ilim CEO also elaborated on the Company’s structure, mission, and strategy with an emphasis on the importance of having a well-defined strategy as a key competitive business advantage amid intense competition.
