OREANDA-NEWS. Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) has introduced real-time price information of selected futures contracts on the HKEX website to help further promote the contracts.

HKEX website is now providing real-time price information of:

1. RMB Currency Futures, or USD-CNH Futures1
2. The London Metal Mini Futures
3. Stock Futures

HKEX introduced three new London Metal Mini Futures contracts in December and now has six contracts.  It also introduced 34 Stock Futures contracts late last year, raising the total to 74 contracts.

HKEX’s derivatives market had its highest trading volume ever last year (total volume was 189,824,363 contracts, up from 142,439,039 contracts in 2014) and both RMB Currency Futures and Stock Futures had record high volume.  RMB Currency Futures also set a record this month, with open interest rising to 30,792 contracts on 13 January.
