Nissan's Steve Marsh, vice president, Manufacturing, Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant, Nissan North America, Inc., has been named to Mississippi Business Journal's 2016 list of Mississippi's Top CEOs. Steve was honored at the publication's celebration at Old Capitol Inn Thursday in Jackson, Mississippi.

"We are fortunate to have strong leaders like Steve positioning Nissan as a leader in the automotive industry and the community," said John Martin, senior vice president, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management and Purchasing, Nissan North America, Inc. "With a commitment to making the Canton plant a benchmark for quality, Steve's team achieved several milestones this past year, including production of the 3-millionth vehicle in Canton and successfully launching the next generation Nissan TITAN."

Marsh is responsible for the operation of Nissan's Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant including safety, quality, operations, productivity and environmental compliance.

Marsh joined Nissan North America in April 2015 from Nissan Europe where he was deputy managing director in Renault's Douai Plant. His past experience includes 23 years in various manufacturing roles with Nissan Motors UK, as well as two years as production director at Nissan South Africa in Pretoria.
