OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2016. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", at the end of 2015 sales of electric cars in Russia fell by 31% to 122 units.

About half (47.5%) of sold electric vehicles were the model Tesla S, which reached 58 units, for the year it fell by 29%. The second most popular is the Mitsubishi i-MiEV with a share of 22%, which corresponds to 27 sold units (-7%). 14 units were sold in the last year by Nissan Leaf and LADA Ellada each, which showed a drop by 46% and 62%, respectively.

In addition to these, in Russia, the owners were found by another electric car BMW i3 (6 units) and Renault Twizy (3 units), the sales of which has increased twice.
