OREANDA-NEWS. The consolidated unaudited data of the Latvian leading information technology and telecommunications company Lattelecom for 2015 show that the company’s profits have increased by 2 million in comparison to 2014, reaching EUR 32 million. The normalised EBITDA, namely, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, amounts to EUR 72 million, thus maintaining the last year’s level. In turn, Lattelecom turnover reached EUR 191 million in 2015, similarly to the previous year.

In 2015, the most significant income was earned in information technology (IT) and outsourcing where the amount of income has been increased by 30%. A similar positive tendency has been noted in development of new businesses of Lattelecom - TV content and advertising where the income has been doubled last year.

The principal services maintain a stable growth: income from broadband internet services has increased by 1%; and income from TV services has increased by 8% in comparison to 2014.

In 2015, Lattelecom has paid EUR 94 million for state development, investments and taxes; EUR 48.8 million thereof have been paid in taxes, EUR 30 million have been invested in development and service improvement, and EUR 15 million have been transferred to the state treasury as dividends.
