OREANDA-NEWS. The Governor and the Board Members of the Bank of Lithuania will visit the Bank of Finland on 25 January in response to an invitation from the Bank of Finland Governor, Erkki Liikanen. The visit constitutes part of the regular Eurosystem cooperation.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss, among other things, the evolution and application of macroprudential policy tools in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The meeting also serves as a means to share best practices in the management and strategical planning of the central banks. 

The meeting will be attended by Governor Vitas Vasiliauskas and the Board Members of the Bank of Lithuania. The Bank of Finland will be represented by Governor Erkki Liikanen and the Members of the Board.
