OREANDA-NEWS.  Russian dealers of Porsche at the end of 2015 sold 5290 cars – it is more by 12.4% than in the previous year. Despite the difficult economic situation, Porsche is one of the few automakers that not only preserved the positive dynamics, but it also achieved record levels, informed the press service of "Porsche Russland".

Best-selling Porsche model in the Russian market is still SUV Cayenne, sales of which in 2015 grew by 26.3% to 3,015 vehicles. Another key model, which ensured the growth of the brand, has become a compact SUV Porsche Macan - it is the second by popularity among Russian customers with the result of 1583 cars (+ 11.7%). Popularity of Porsche Panamera (316 units, -37,3%), Boxster and Cayman (139 units, -6.7%) decreased slightly compared to the previous years. This is due to the forthcoming change of the model range, after which the company expects to return once again to the positive dynamics of growth of sales of these models in 2016. In the future, the family of Boxster and Cayman will have a single name Porsche 718 and they will become even more unified both technically and visually. With the introduction of a new generation of Porsche 911 Carrera in the Russian market and the start of deliveries at the beginning of 2016, a decline in sales of this model in 2015 (237 units, -5.2%) should be leveled.
