MyBrainBook wins Regional Business Award
MyBrainBook® has been developed in collaboration with the Health Innovation Network (Academic Health Science Network for South London), Mental Health Trusts, community care providers and 3rd sector partners across South London. It has been designed with input from patients, their carers and professionals to promote self-care and prevent escalating need for people living with dementia. It is currently being evaluated by NHS patients with the support of trained facilitators.
Professor Derek Hill, Chief Executive of IXICO, commented:
"We are delighted to have received this award for our work in partnership with the NHS as IXICO is committed to improving the lives of people with dementia and their families. MyBrainBook® is a key part of IXICO's evolving digital healthcare platform to support healthcare professionals, patients, carers and organizations developing new treatments. From the outset, we have been working with potential users to develop MyBrainBook® to ensure that it is both relevant and user-friendly."
