OREANDA-NEWS. AvtoVAZ sold in the Russian market of 269,096 cars in 2015 – less by 31% than the year before. With a total fall of the Russian car market by 35.7% in the last year, the share of LADA has reached 16.8% against 15.5% of 2014, according to the AEB.

Bestseller of AvtoVAZ at the end of 2015 is still LADA Granta, whose sales were 120,182 cars (-21.4%). Thus, this model holds the leadership in the Russian market the fourth consecutive year. The second place went to Lada Largus - last year it was sold 38,982 estate cars and vans of the family (-40.2%). The third place is occupied by LADA Kalina, whose sales were 35,869 units (-45.3%). SUVs LADA 4x4 found 35,312 buyers, which is less by 17.7% than in 2014 year. Sales of cars LADA Priora fell by 40.4% to 28,507 units. Since November 24th, in the Russian market it was started the new sedan LADA Vesta, and until the end of the year it was sold 2785 of such cars.
