OREANDA-NEWS. Russian dealers of Nissan by the results of 2015 sold 91,100 cars - less by 44% than the year before. As a result, the Japanese brand ranked the sixth place by sales among all automakers in Russia and Nissan's market share was 5.7%.

The leader of sales in the model line of Nissan is still sedan Nissan Almera – the last year this model was chosen by 24,825 buyers, which is less by 43.8% than a year ago. Second place went to SUV Nissan X-Trail, whose sales were 21,607 cars. Terrano crossover closes the top-three best-selling models of Nissan with the index of 11471 sold cars.

By the state program of parc renovation it was sold more than 20,000 Nissan cars by the trade-in and other 3000 units - by disposal, the greatest interest in this program was used by models Almera, X-Trail and Terrano.

As it was noted earlier, after the complete renovation of the model range, which occurred in 2014, Nissan brought to the market several new models in 2015, including the new hatchback Nissan Tiida and X-Trail SUV of new generation, the production of which is established at the plant of company in St. Petersburg. In October of 2015 the assembly line of Nissan plant in the northern capital received the crossover Nissan Qashqai, which was originally produced in the UK.
