Celanese Presents Innovations in Medical and Pharmaceutical Polymers at Drug Delivery Partnerships
“Our broad medical and pharmaceutical polymer portfolio is creating comfortable and easy-to-use drug delivery devices and implants,” said Kelsey Achenbach, strategic marketing manager for the Celanese EVA polymers business. “Improving patient care has led to recent innovations in our engineered and EVA polymer portfolios that are creating broader device and implant design options that meet changing drug delivery needs.”
During the presentation, Celanese material experts will share insights into the latest innovations in controlled release excipients and engineered polymers for complex drug delivery devices and implants, highlighting the following products:
- VitalDose® EVA – a controlled-release excipient ideal for use in pharmaceutical drug delivery implants that require a consistent release of active ingredients.
- Hostaform® MT® SlideX™ POM – a tribologically-modified medical copolymer ideal for use in complex drug delivery devices, such as dry powder inhalers, pressurized metered dose inhalers, insulin pens, auto-injectors and medical pump systems.
