OREANDA-NEWS. The most salable model in Russia in 2015 is still Lada Granta with an index of 120 182 vehicles (-21.4%), in accordance with the European Business Association. Thus, this model keeps the leadership in the Russian market the fourth consecutive year.

Second place is kept by the Hyundai Solaris - sales of the most popular foreign car in Russia were 115,868 cars (+ 1.1%). The third result was shown by renewed KIA Rio - 97,097 sold cars (+ 3.7%). Sales of the sedan Volkswagen Polo in the last year fell by 23% to 45,390 units. Leadership among SUV models is kept by the Renault Duster, which sold 43,923 units (-42.3%). It is followed by sedan Renault Logan, whose result was 41,311 vehicles (-31.6%). The best-seller in the market of estate cars is Lada Largus, which was sold in amount of 38,982 units (-40.2%). Sales of Lada Kalina cars were 35,869 cars, or less by 45.3% than a year ago. The last models in the top-10 of the most popular models in Russia were two SUVs - Lada 4x4 (35312 units, -17.7%) and Chevrolet Niva (31367 units, -27.8%).
