Crude Oil Production

In December 2015, PJSC TATNEFT produced 2,386,725 tonnes of crude oil or 107.4% versus December 2014 (+164,067 tonnes). The volume of crude oil production for twelve months of 2015 amounted to 26,926,971 tonnes, which was 704,405 tonnes more than in 2014 (102.7%). The amount of associated gas collected increased by 15.9 million cubic meters and amounted to 899.5 mln m3.

The production volume for the TATNEFT Group of Companies amounted to 27,248,518 tonnes of crude oil (102.7%; +719,348 tonnes versus the level of the previous year).

New Drilling

The new drilling meterage for twelve months of 2015 amounted to 915.7 thousand meters (plan – 894.2 thousand meters) with the production drilling accounting for 529.6 thousand meters (plan – 508.3 thousand meters) and exploratory drilling accounting for 17.4 thousand meters (plan – 17.3 thousand meters), while drilling to bitumen deposits amounted to 368.7 thousand meters (plan – 368.6 thousand meters).

6.7 thousand meters (plan – 6.7 thousand meters) were penetrated for OOO “Tatneft-Samara”, including production drilling amounting to 3.5 thousand meters (plan – 3.5 thousand meters) and exploratory drilling amounting to 3.2 thousand meters (plan – 3.2 thousand meters).

653 wells (plan – 635 wells) were delivered to customers, including production drilling amounting to 312 wells (plan – 294 wells); exploratory drilling amounting to 10 wells (plan – 10 wells) and drilling to bitumen deposits amounted to 331 wells (plan – 331 wells).

4 wells (plan – 4 wells) were delivered for OOO “Tatneft-Samara”, including 2 production wells (plan – 2 wells) and 2 exploratory wells (plan – 2 wells).

Active Well Stock Drilling

The meterage of sidetracking and drilling of horizontal wellbores amounted to 27.2 thousand meters for twelve months of 2015 (plan – 26.7 thousand meters), while 76 wells (plan – 76 wells) were delivered to customers.

The average number of drilling crews performing conventional well drilling operations during twelve months of 2015 amounted to 42, while 9 drilling crews were engaged in drilling laterals and lateral horizontal wellbores.

15 drilling crews performed drilling to the bituminous deposits.

Repair of Wells
Remedial servicing was performed in 964 wells in December 2015 (818 wells in December 2014), while the number of wells serviced during twelve months amounted to 9,987 wells (8,408 wells in 2014).

86 well remedial servicing operations were performed at the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan from the beginning of 2015 (115 remedial servicing operations for 12 months in 2014) with 12 well repairs performed in December.

Workover operations were performed in 2,369 wells in 2015 accounting for 100% to the plan (in December – 205 wells; in 2014 – 2,873 wells).

Formation hydrocracking operations were carried out in 642 wells or 100% to the plan (42 wells in December and 677 wells during 12 months in 2014). The cumulative incremental ultimate crude oil recovery amounted to 11 million 098 thousand tonnes.

Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 2,586 wells (103 percent to the plan with 157 wells treated in December) (2,671 wells during twelve months of 2014), including chemical methods applied in 1,259 wells (100 percent to the plan, 61 wells in December and 1,316 wells during 12 months of 2014). The  cumulative incremental ultimate crude oil recovery through application of crude oil recovery enhancement methods amounted to 6 million 833 thousand tonnes of crude oil (112 percent to the plan) with the share resulting from chemicals application accounting for 2 million 232 thousand tonnes of crude oil (100 percent to the plan).

Production Performance of JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 798.5 thousand tonnes of raw materials in December 2015 and 9,259.7 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year, including the processing of 739.1 thousand tonnes of petroleum feedstock and 8,658.6 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year.

The Complex yielded 767.6 thousand tonnes of oil products in December and 8,894.8 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year.
