Tallinn University of Technology Kicks Off the EU's Twinning Action TUTORIAL
OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2016. The kick-off event of a new Horizon 2020 Twinning Action TUTORIAL takes place at the Department of Computer Engineering of Tallinn University of Technology (TUT).
The TUTORIAL action is part of the EU's Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation programme. It is being coordinated by TUT and includes partners from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, Politecnico di Torino, Italy and the German Aerospace Centre DLR. The objective of TUTORIAL will be to strengthen TUT’s research excellence in the inter-disciplinary field of nanoelectronics based dependable cyber-physical systems. Such systems can be found in vital domains such as transportation, manufacturing, aerospace, agriculture, energy, defense and buildings.
The TUTORIAL action with a total budget of 1 million Euros will run for three years. A total of 75 person months of researcher exchange to and from TUT is expected in the frames of TUTORIAL. Moreover, the action will organise two international conferences and three summer schools on emerging research topics in the computer engineering field.
