Atlantis to announce appointment of Cameron Smith, as Director of Project Development
He was previously the Chief Operating Officer (offshore) of Mainstream Renewable Power, a global wind and solar company, where he held a variety of roles from 2008. Of particular relevance to his new role at Atlantis, Cameron had full commercial responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all of Mainstream's offshore business. Cameron moved to Mainstream Renewable Power from Airtricity, where he held the role of Development Manager. He is a chartered Electrical Engineer with a background in marine electrical contracting, shipbuilding and utility asset management and is passionate about renewable energy and the economic opportunities it can provide. He is currently on the board of Scottish Renewables.
