OREANDA-NEWS. Naftogaz of Ukraine, Ukraine's largest oil and gas company, has concluded tender procedures within the framework of the EBRD loan. The company has awarded 17 contracts for the delivery of approximately 1.7 bcm of natural gas during the period from December 2015 to March 2016.

The contracts were awarded to Noble Clean Fuels Limited, Engie SA, Axpo Trading AG, E.ON Global Commodities SE and Eni trading&shipping S.p.A which were identified among 11 eligible suppliers under the EBRD prequalification procedure in December 2015. The tender winners were selected on the basis of the lowest price offered. The cost of the gas including delivery to the border of Ukraine ranges from USD188 to USD211/tcm.

Naftogaz also purchases gas in the European markets on competitive terms on its own account.
