BMW model update measures for spring 2016
New additions will also be made to the standard and optional equipment of numerous models in spring 2016. For example, the new Open Air package, which will be offered for the BMW 2 Series Convertible, BMW 4 Series Convertible and BMW M4 Convertible, provides extra driving pleasure with the roof down. The globally unique Remote Control Parking option is now available for all variants of the new BMW 7 Series model range. And the luxury sedan can also be specified with additional exterior paint finishes, upholstery colours and BMW Individual interior trim strips. Elsewhere in the model portfolio, the ConnectedDrive navigation package fitted as standard on the BMW 6 Series will include a new menu display for the iDrive operating system from March 2016, as well as the telephony with wireless charging and wi-fi hotspot functions. These new features will be written into the options list for the BMW X3 and BMW X4 from April 2016. Customers will be able to order an Advantage variant of these models as an alternative to standard specification. From April 2016 the standard equipment of the BMW X6. BMW X5M and BMW X6M will also include a rear view camera. And the BMW X5 and BMW X6 will now feature Park Distance Control (PDC) with sensors in the front and rear apron as standard.
