Specialists of IDGC of Centre continue to provide assistance to the energy sector of Sevastopol to ensure the power supply of socially important facilities of the city
With efforts of experts and by means of IDGC of Centre from 7 to 12 January 16 diesel generators with capacity of 1,000 kW were repaired and their performance was restored. IDGC of Centre was contacted to repair the energy sources in connection with the fact that the company’s specialists are currently engaged in operational duty and continue to ensure the smooth functioning of the independent backup power supply sources installed and connected to the educational institutions of the city of Sevastopol.
In December 2015 IDGC of Centre’s experts sent to the Crimea 207 backup power supply sources and connected 67 educational institutions of the city of Sevastopol to them. Installation of uninterruptible power supply (diesel generators) was carried out by power engineers from 4 branches of the company - Belgorodenergo, Voronezhenergo, Kurskenergo and Lipetskenergo.
In an emergency situation, which arose as a result of tripping the entire Crimean peninsula and the city of Sevastopol on the power supply from the Ukraine, IDGC of Centre’s power engineers were among the first who provided and continue providing assistance to colleagues from Sevastopol to ensure the power supply of significant sites of the city.
Realizing the importance of ensuring reliable power supply of inhabitants of the peninsula IDGC of Centre plans to continue to efficiently deliver assistance to the energy sector of the Crimea. Along with it, the company noted that IDGC of Centre will involve a substantial amount of available resources to help residents of the Crimea, at the same time, some retail companies continue to increase receivables to IDGC of Centre, which leads to impossibility of performance of its obligations to certain counterparties. So, at the end of December 2015 arrears only of the power supply company "Atomenergosbyt" to IDGC of Centre reached 2.6 bln rubles. The presence of such volume of indebtedness at the end of 2015 led to delays in the payment of IDGC of Centre for services of PJSC "FGC UES", whose experts are also involved in ensuring the functioning of the energy bridge to the Crimea. Increasing receivables of sales companies to grid companies may cause a significant reduction in the reliability of power supply to consumers.
