Under the patronage of HE the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain and in the presence of BBK’s Chairman Mr. Murad Ali Murad the official opening of the Bank’s new branch in the Hidd area of Muharraq Governorate took place today, Wednesday, 13th of January 2016. Also present were the other members of BBK Board, BBK Chief Executive, Mr. A.Karim Bucheery, VIP officials as well as BBK executive Management.

On this occasion, Mr. Murad Ali Murad, BBK Chairman stated: “BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking always strives to provide advanced banking services that cover most areas of the Kingdom of Bahrain. That is in addition to the Bank’s continuous efforts to further develop its services through different other channels such as ATM machines, internet banking and POS to name a few. On the other hand, the Bank also puts a lot of efforts towards social responsibility; BBK has supported and inaugurated in March 2010 the BBK Health Centre in Hidd with a cost of over BD 4 million to give back to the community and cater to the people who live in this important area. We get together here again today to officially open the BBK Branch in Hidd on the same premises as the BBK Hidd Health Centre to provide an array of advanced banking services at convenient location for the Hidd area residents”.

Mr. A.Karim Bucheery, BBK Chief Executive commented during the inauguration: “Despite the current challenging economic environment and the scope of the business that is changing worldwide, BBK continues to invest in its branch network around the Kingdom to ensure close proximity to every citizen and every resident to access an array of banking solutions that suit their needs. We are growing the number of branches due to the considerable demand. Branch locations are carefully selected and we will continue working on adding a number of new branches to cater to that demand and better serve our clients.”
