OREANDA-NEWS. National Rating Agency has withdrawn its individual financial strength rating on Rosgosstrakh LLC due to expiry of the contract for rating services. The company is assigned an exit rating of 'AAA' duplicating the withdrawn rating. Rosgosstrakh LLC as a division of Rosgosstrakh OJSC was first assigned NRA's individual rating of 'AAA' in December 2010.

The fact that the company's exit rating actually affirms the withdrawn rating is due to Rosgosstrakh LLC's leading position in the Russian market, improving key performance indicators, good reinsurance protection, geographically diversified portfolio, as well as its strong corporate governance and risk management practices.

Financial penalties imposed on the company by the regulator are viewed as a rating weakness.
