Container Vessel under FESCO's Management to Call at Bronka Port
OREANDA-NEWS. A container vessel managed by FESCO Transportation Group has completed a test call at the recently commissioned Marine Multipurpose Complex Bronka (MMPK Bronka). In the future, FESCO plans to include the termi vessel nal in its regular service routes.
The container ship E. R. VISBY, which operates on the regular FESCO ESF Service (FESF) on the St. Petersburg - Rotterdam - Hamburg - St. Petersburg route, arrived at Bronka Port on December 28th for loading of export containers. An inspection of MMPK Bronka's infrastructure and equipment readiness for the reception of container cargo delivered by road transport and the transshipment to specialized container vessels. The details of cooperation between all participants of the transportation process have been finalized.
Within the scope of its services, FESCO regularly operates across all terminals in St. Petersburg. Including MMPK Bronka into the route network will allow FESCO to expand the range of logistics services and increase cargo handling speed. Moreover, FESCO will continue to receive cargo on modern services jointly with CMA CGM, which has recently signed a long-term contract for the handling and storage of container cargo at Bronka Port.
