OREANDA-NEWS. Meeting on 4 January 2016, the Board of Directors of BNP Paribas Cardif named Renaud Dumora Chief Executive Officer and Pierre de Villeneuve Executive Chairman. Renaud Dumora also becomes a member of the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas.

As Chief Executive Officer, Renaud Dumora will be responsible for defining the strategy of the company and oversee operational management of BNP Paribas Cardif. He has been Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Cardif since January 2015.

As Executive Chairman, Pierre de Villeneuve will in particular contribute to establishing strategic objectives and representing BNP Paribas Cardif with industry and public bodies. Pierre de Villeneuve has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Cardif since October 2013.

Renaud Dumora’s appointment to the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas underlines the major role the insurer plays within our Group,” said Jean-Laurent Bonnaf?, Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas.  

Jacques d’Estais, Chief Operating Officer of BNP Paribas, Head of International Financial Services, added: “I have no doubt that the combined experience of Pierre and Renaud will enable BNP Paribas Cardif to pursue its already robust development momentum which is centred on diversification and international development of the savings and personal protection businesses in Europe, Asia and Latin America.”  

In conjunction with these changes to the executive team, two new members have been appointed to the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas Cardif: Pauline Leclerc-Glorieux, Chief Actuary, and Murielle Puron Chambord, Chief Financial Officer.

The Executive Committee of BNP Paribas Cardif now comprises 12 members:
