Wells Fargo Donates $100,000 for Storm Relief Efforts in Texas
OREANDA-NEWS. Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) said today the company will donate $100,000 to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts for those impacted by recent tornadoes in north Texas.
Additionally, Wells Fargo customers can donate to the American Red Cross at Wells Fargo ATMs in Texas through January 12, 2016. Customers will not be charged a fee for their ATM donations, with 100 percent of their donations going to the Red Cross.
“Our hearts go out to all of those who have been affected by these devastating storms, and we particularly mourn for those who lost their lives, and for their affected families and loved ones," said John Sotoodeh, Southwest Regional Banking Executive at Wells Fargo. "We hope our contribution to the American Red Cross and the contributions of our customers will help Texas storm victims with the healing and rebuilding process.”
Customers impacted by the storms may discuss their financial needs with Wells Fargo by calling 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557), 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or by visiting their nearest Wells Fargo location.
