Deutsche Telekom wins in Europe with its one-stop packages
Europe-wide concept with local features
In 2015, Deutsche Telekom subsidiaries in other countries followed the concept of the bundled portfolio that was originally launched in Germany. Around one million customers have been won over to the service to date. This means there are now three million customers throughout Europe who signed up for integrated services. The Magenta portfolio is marketed in Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and Macedonia with the same symbols and magenta color scheme as in Germany. The additional elements of the portfolio vary locally, such as attractive family and entertainment packages, or a Deutsche Telekom tablet with exclusive services, as is the case in Slovakia. The Group's latest portfolio bundle was launched in November as COSMOTE One in Greece. The packages offered there also include an option for business customers, like in Macedonia and Romania. Alongside the comprehensive solution for fixed-line and mobile communications from a single source, these packages also include personalized customer service and particularly generous cloud storage.
"The key to our success in Europe is simple: an international marketing concept with local characteristics, which means that we have adapted it to suit the market requirements in each country," says Claudia Nemat, Deutsche Telekom Board Member for Europe and Technology. "This gives us a major kick-start on our way to becoming Europe's leading telecommunications company."
