The Lincoln Way Expands Reach with New Baoding Xuanyu Store
OREANDA-NEWS. Lincoln recently announced the opening of the Baoding Xuanyu Lincoln Store, its second dealership in Hebei province. Located near the megacities of Beijing and Tianjin, Baoding has strategic geographical importance, especially as the government plans the Bohai Economic Rim, a new economic area connecting Beijing, Tianjin and the adjacent Hebei province.
“People’s perception of luxury is evolving and their tastes are changing. Customers want personally crafted experiences that meet their own unique needs, a one size fits one approach that appreciates their individuality,” said Robert Parker, president, Lincoln China. “With the innovative personalized service of The Lincoln Way and competitive product offering, we can meet the demands of this new generation of luxury customers.”
The Lincoln Way, for a New Generation of Customers
Based on an extensive, cross-industry study that covered a variety of luxury brands, from retail stores to boutique hotels, The Lincoln Way reinvents the traditional transaction-focused model and puts customers at the forefront with a “one-size-fits-one” approach.
As an important element of this new overarching philosophy, all Lincoln Stores are built around their customers, using clean, elegant designs, harmonious colors and quality materials. The distinct, welcoming environment features a relaxing teahouse and intuitive technologies, like the Personalization Studio where customers can customize and preview life-size versions of their vehicles.
Lincoln Institute-trained staff are ready to anticipate guests’ needs. Personalized test drive routes can be arranged at any dealership or online; full maintenance transparency is available in each Lincoln dealership with a live video feed; and service hours can be extended to fit clients’ busy schedules.
To better provide personalized services and cater to clients’ schedules, Lincoln recently launched The Virtual Lincoln Way, providing luxury clients in China with a comprehensive online solution never before seen in the retail automotive space.
The Virtual Lincoln Way began its roll out on WeChat, China’s largest social network, earlier this year. The first phase, “Explore”, launched in September, gives customers a 360-degree virtual experience of a Lincoln Store. The second and most recently launch phase, “Shop” offers additional options to meet shoppers’ needs, including live video shopping and live chat functionality.
Expanding Product Portfolio Enhances Personalized Experiences
The Lincoln Way not only lives in its dealerships and services, but also in every Lincoln vehicle. “With competitive offerings at key price points and positioned in the most popular segments, Lincoln models provide a personalized driver and passenger experience,” said Zhang Kuo, general manager, Baoding Xuanyu Lincoln Store.
The latest addition to the Lincoln lineup is the full-size luxury SUV Lincoln Navigator. It is a compelling combination of power and refinement, and a fresh interpretation of one of the brand’s most iconic nameplates. The Lincoln Navigator delivers great versatility with standard 4x4 technology and the powerful 3.5L twin-turbo charged EcoBoost engine. Standard leather seats offer three rows of luxurious accommodations. The second and third row seats fold flat, providing for extra cargo space and additional flexibility.
The Lincoln Navigator is available in Lincoln stores across China, together with the Lincoln MKZ, a mid-size luxury sedan; the Lincoln MKC, a medium premium utility; and the Lincoln MKX, a medium-large premium utility.
Adding another nameplate to Lincoln’s lineup in China, the much-anticipated full-size sedan, the Lincoln Continental, will also launch before the end of 2016.
