OREANDA-NEWS. Fitch Ratings has withdrawn the 'A' Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) rating for Montpelier Reinsurance Ltd. as the rated entity no longer exists following its merger with Endurance Speciality Insurance Ltd. effective Dec. 29, 2015.

Fitch has withdrawn the following rating as the entity no longer exists:

Montpelier Reinsurance Ltd.
--Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) Rating 'A'.
