Sberbank Committee for Minority Shareholders Relations Holds Meeting
OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank's Corporate University hosted the final meeting of the Committee for Minority Shareholders Relations in 2015.
Gennady Melikyan, Member of the Supervisory Board of Sberbank, Senior Independent Director; Oleg Tsvetkov, Head of Sberbank's Corporate Secretary Service, and Anastasia Belyanina, Managing Director for Investor Relations, spoke at the meeting.
Gennady Melikyan gave a presentation on the Supervisory Board's work in 2015. Oleg Tsvetkov talked about Sberbank's main achievements in corporate governance in 2015. Anastasia Belyanina presented the bank's primary financial results for 9 months of 2015 under IFRS.
In 2015, Sberbank's Corporate University received an international award from GlobalCCU (Global Council of Corporate Universities) for taking second place in the "Best Overall Corporate University" category. This award recognised Sberbank's achievements in corporate training and development. The Corporate University has 26,000 graduates.
Sberbank's Committee for Minority Shareholders Relations was established to generate a system within Sberbank aimed at maintaining efficient liaison with the bank's minority shareholders. The Committee is an advisory and consultative board.
