SORAINEN Belarus and other partners took part in publication of a Belarussian edition of the Finnish folklore epic poem “The Kalevala”
OREANDA-NEWS. “The Kalevala” is a national Finnish folklore epic poem based on national songs and epics from Karelia and Finland. The first version of “The Kalevala” was published in 1835. Since then, the book has been translated into 61 languages, including Belarussian. Presentation of the Belarusian edition took place at The Belarus National Library on 10 December.
Maksim Salahub, a partner with SORAINEN Belarus comments: “Our Firm always takes care to strengthen relationships between Belarus and Finland – both business and cultural. This was a highly interesting project for our Firm as a way to put Belarussians in touch with Finnish poetry”.
