OPORA Insurance Company Assigned 'BBB+' Reliability Rating; Outlook Stable
OREANDA-NEWS. National Rating Agency has assigned its 'BBB+' reliability rating to JSC (formerly known as OTKRITIE STRAKHOVANIE OJSC). The outlook for the rating is Stable.
The company was assigned NRA's first-time reliability rating of 'A-' in February 2012. On Apr. 14, 2015, the rating was withdrawn due to expiry of the contract.
The rating benefits from the company's strong solvency position, with actual solvency margin 2.5x higher than the regulatory minimum, its reasonably diversified insurance portfolio, growing net profit and its ability to retain key customers after the change in the ownership structure.
