OREANDA-NEWS. The ceremony of awarding the winners of the annual Republican contest "Manager of the Year" was held in Kazan. The festive event was attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, State Councilor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputies of the State Duma and Federation Council of the Russian Federation on behalf of the Republic of Tatarstan, members of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of Republican ministries and agencies and municipalities, including small and medium-sized enterprises, leaders of employers' associations, trade unions and other civil public organizations, representatives of religious confessions, heads of institutions of science, culture and health care and mass media.

As Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, pointed out in his speech, the annual ceremony of the "Manager of the Year" was held for the 15th time. This year,     nearly a thousand applications had been submitted to the contest committee, and only 26 persons were awarded commemorative awards. Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that as of today there were new approaches actively being developed in Tatarstan to attract and work with investors. However, despite this, the main base was constituted by Republican companies. He thanked the heads of the Republican companies for joint work and handed out the awards to the winners of the "Manager of the Year - 2015" contest.

The winners from "Tatneft" Company include Anwar Vakhitov (Director of OOO "Tatneft-Neftekhim" Management Company) in the nomination "For high competitiveness", Nickolay Zaikin (Head of the Construction Projects Department of PJSC "Tatneft") in the category "For investment activity"; Ruslan Zabbarov (Director of Engineering Center - Deputy Chief Engineer of PJSC "Tatneft") in the nomination "For the implementation of research, development and design works".

The event also witnessed awarding of the companies’ leaders, which had actively participated in the reconstruction of park sites under the program of the Year of parks and gardens in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2015. The certificate "Patron of the park" was presented to Nail Maganov, General Director of PJSC "Tatneft".

The heads of the enterprises and organizations were also presented the sixth volume of the Philanthropists Book and Letters of Thanks of the Republican Fund of reviving historical and cultural monuments of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Philanthropists Book is annually published by the "Revival" Fund in order to perpetuate the names of organizations and names of individuals who have made a voluntary contribution to the revival of historical monuments of the Republic.

Nail Maganov, General Director of PJSC "Tatneft" and deputy of the State Council of RT was also among the benefactors who received the Letter of Thanks of the "Revival" Fund.
