ARMZ Uranium Holding: projected results 2015 and production plan 2016 have been discussed at Khiagda
OREANDA-NEWS. The meeting chaired by the First Deputy Director General - Chief Operating Officer of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. Victor Svyatetskiy was held at the central production site of the company.
General Director of Khiagda JSC Alexei Dementiev reported that the company plans to produce 492.3 tons of uranium by the end of 2015, which is 50.3 t higher than the output in 2014. The sustained growth will continue in 2015; finished product output is to reach 540.05 tons.
"Launch of the central production site facilities, including the sulfuric acid plant, will be a solid basis for further development. Now we are going to progressively increase the production volume to reach more than 1000 tons of metal by 2018", - said Alexei Dementiev.
Continuous development of reserves is being carried out to support output growth. 266 production wells were added in 2015 (about 49 thousand line meters drilled). Accessed reserves increased by 1154 tons. In 2016, it is planned to increase accessed reserves already by 1287 tons.
"The main objective of the next year, along with growth in output, is to further reduce the cost of the finished product. This will be done through reduction of sulfuric acid cost, reduction of standard consumption of basic materials, and implementation of Rosatom Production System projects", - said Victor Svyatetskiy.
