LES: Regarding the change of public electricity price cap for 2016
On 23 December 2015 the National Control Commission for Prices and Energy (hereinafter - Commission) decided to change the Commission’s decision dated 9 November 2015, when the public electricity price ceiling for the year 2016 for household consumers buying electricity from medium and low voltage network was approved.
The Commission approved public electricity price cap for 2016 for domestic consumers in medium - voltage networks 8.086 ct/kWh (VAT excluded), in low voltage networks - 9.852 ct/kWh (VAT excluded).
Public electricity price cap composes of these components: electricity cost, PSO price, price of system services, transmission service price cap, public supply service price cap and distribution price cap.
Currently public electricity price cap for domestic consumers, who buy electricity from medium voltage networks is 8.616 ct/kWh (VAT excluded) and from low voltage networks - 10.165 ct/kWh (VAT excluded).
Final LESTO electricity prices and tariffs for 2016 will be clear no later than 31 December, 2015 after Commission‘s publication.
