Enterprise extends Mont Belvieu splitter work

OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2015. Enterprise Products Partners is extending maintenance at its splitter III unit at Mont Belvieu, Texas, through 28 December, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Enterprise first took the splitter down for maintenance in the first week of December. Work on the unit was originally expected to last through 21 December.

The work may result in small emissions of propane, propylene, and butane, among other materials, according to the filing.
