OREANDA-NEWS. From 1 January 2016, SFS customs offices will issue free EUR.1 movement certificates under the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.

It has been envisaged maximum facilitation of the issue of certificates in the shortest period of time with a simultaneous increase of responsibility of the exporter for the accuracy of information, which is necessary to prove the Ukrainian origin of a product. The procedure of filling in and issuing by a customs office of a EUR.1 movement certificate is similar to what operates in other European countries.

To simplify the procedure for the issue of a certificate, the SFS determined 162 customs posts and departments (sectors) of customs clearance, which are as the closest to potential exporters / producers, as places for the issue of certificates.
